My Background
Hi! I'm a bioengineer based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with education and experience with design and development of medical devices and sterile packaging for medical devices. I went to the University of Pittsburgh for my undergraduate (Bachelors in Bioengineering, Biomechanics) and graduate (Masters in Bioengineering, Medical Product Engineering) degrees. I had worked in the medical device and simulator field for three years. That was split between working as a mechanical engineer at IngMar Medical to design electromechanical components for respiratory simulators and Bayer Pharmaceuticals to design and test packaging. Outside of work, I like to run marathons and ultras, read fantasy and historical fiction books, and backpack with my fiancee.

Education
2017-2021
University of Pittsburgh
I graduated with my Bachelors in Bioengineering - Biomechanics in May 2021. In my program, I learned about different field of bioengineering and enhanced my knowledge of base topics in engineering, such as Physics, Calculus, and Chemistry. I chose to pursue a focused degree in Biomechanics because I thoroughly enjoyed mechanical engineering classes and human motion. I conducted research in the Vorp Lab to design cardiovascular devices and a test bench for abdominal aortic aneruysm intervention.
2021-2022
University of Pittsburgh
I graduated with my Masters in Bioengineering - Medical Product Engineering in December of 2022. During my program, I worked on many projects that centered around designing medical devices and learning the industry process of designing, developing, testing, and manufacturing medical devices. I continued working the Vorp Lab to design cardiovascular devices and test benches for aneruysm intervention.
